So over the crawling thing.

She tries and tries and is so freaking close to crawling it's actually frustrating ME. I can't imagine how frustrating it is for her. She gets in position, she rocks. She hops. She gets her knees moving, reaches out with one arm....and... it's over. It's to the point where I'm going "Oh, come ON! You were RIGHT THERE!" *sigh* (In my head. I'm not mean to my child.)

She's decided to move on. To standing. We not only witnessed this one, we took pictures.

First, holding on to the couch with both hands:

That lasted a mere few seconds at best.

Oh, yeah - one hand, people. Check it.

Wait, what's that? No hands?

That's right, no hands, bitches.

That's my girl.

Nice!!!!
I've given up on crawling on behalf of G, so we're standing w/ furniture support too. He's doing this butt-stick out in the air thing though that is pretty damn cute.

Awesome job for getting it on camera.

Why crawl when you can stand? One of my twins did some crazy one-armed dragging move on her stomach forever like she was a wounded soldier trying to cross back from enemy lines. It was painful to watch while the other crawled right past her. She'll probably jog right past you next week.
